Dr. Erlund is the Project Manager of Lee Engineering’s San Antonio Office. He has over 30 years of traffic and transportation engineering experience in Texas and Louisiana. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University. He has master’s degrees from SAGU in Waxahachie, TX, and a doctorate from Louisiana Baptist University. He has served as a design engineer for TxDOT’s Humble Area Office and Carter-Burgess Inc in the 1990’s. For twenty-four years, Dr. Erlund was the City Traffic Engineer for Shreveport Louisiana. For nearly three decades, he timed hundred signals, designed and managed dozens of signal installations, reviewed thousands of safety plans, and performed hundreds of studies for traffic improvements.
Dr. Erlund served for thirty years in the US Army Guard in Texas & Louisiana; both as enlisted and officer. He spent six years in the Army’s Transportation Corps, twelve years in the Army’s MP Corps, and twelve years in the Army Chaplain Corps.
